Historic Change at Dundee Burns Club
Sheena Wellington one of the first women to apply for membership
At the 2025 AGM Club Members passed a motion removing the requirement to be a “gentleman” from the Club Rules. This opens the door to women members for the first time in the Club’s long history, and one of the first to apply was Sheena Wellington, famous for singing A Man’s a Man for A That at the opening of the Scottish Parliament.
